🏹 Saint Hubert of Liège – The Hunter Hunted by God 📖 Gospel : Luke 15: 4 “ What man among you having a hundred sheep and losing one of them would not leave the ninety- nine…?” 👤 Biography Hubert was nobility, and his passion was the hunt. One Good Friday morning, he rode deep into the forest instead of going to Mass. There, a stag appeared before him – with a crucifix glowing between its antlers. Stunned, Hubert fell to his knees. That moment changed him forever. He became a priest, then bishop of Liège, dedicating his life to evangelizing pagan forests and hearts. The man who once hunted now sought souls, with the gentleness of one who knows he himself had been found. 🙏 Prayer Saint Hubert, You who were pursued by the mercy of Christ, Teach us to lay down our weapons, To embrace the wild call of grace, And to walk the paths of the Gospel with courage and humility. Amen.
